More about Bobby
I am a Tulsa-based composer, multi-instrumentalist, and visual artist. My musical work is inspired by classical, jazz, and indie rock.
I record in my home studio under the project name Microfauna, performing on real instruments: guitars, bass, drums, piano, vintage organs, analog synthesizers, and assorted percussion instruments. The result is a warmth and humanity that I find comforting in an age of machine learning and digital music.
Microfauna features contributions from my wife, Annina Collier (a classically-trained percussionist), as well as our two young children. Microfauna also includes collaborations from longtime friends TJ Bonds, Shaun Lynch, and Ben Strednak.
In addition to my musical practice, I also work as a visual artist. Working in ink, paint, colored pencil, and digital media, I make works on paper and music videos.
I’m always working on something new and am available for work on film, television, or whatever project you’ve got going on. My forthcoming album will be available in summer of 2026.
